Sheikh Hamdan approves strategic incentives to boost Dubai’s economy

H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of The Executive Council, today chaired a meeting of the council, during which he approved several transformative initiatives to stimulate the industrial sector in Dubai, incentives for the agricultural technology sector, and a policy banning single-use plastics.

The meeting was attended by H.H. Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, First Deputy Ruler of Dubai, and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance of the UAE.

H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed underscored the pivotal role of a diversified economy in realising Dubai’s ambitious objectives outlined in the Dubai Economic Agenda D33, which seeks to propel Dubai into the ranks of the world’s top three cities by 2033 in economic terms, in line with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
