Honeywell to buy Air Products’ LNG business for $1.8 bln, WSJ reports

July 10 (Reuters) – Industrial giant Honeywell (HON.O), opens new tab will buy Air Products’ (APD.N), opens new tab liquefied natural-gas process technology and equipment business for $1.8 billion in cash, the Wall Street Journal reported on Wednesday, citing people familiar with the matter.

The deal, which is set to be announced on Wednesday, would help Honeywell expand its portfolio to add the design and manufacturing of LNG heat exchangers and related equipment, the report added.
